After several years of dreaming, planning, and working, Ray and Mary Cannedy began to realize their dream coming true in January 1981 when they founded Ray Cannedy Security & Investigations.
As time progressed, God's blessing on the company were evident. In May of 1982, the 1st guard was hired, which helped to launch the guard service. In four short years patrol services were added along with an armored truck. By 1987, the company employed 70 people. In June of 1994, Ray decided to add another division to the growing company, when he hired Jim Seigler to launch the electronic security division offering burglar systems. In December 1994, Ray Cannedy passed away. Mary continued on with the dream that she and Ray had envisioned. Today she continues to manage Ray Cannedy Security with the same ethics and standards that the business was founded on. Looking back it is evident that God's hand of blessing has been placed on Ray Cannedy Security.
Today, the future is bright for our company. The Better Business Bureau has rated our company as the highest rated security company in Wichita Falls, Texas for our high level of customer service and our integrity in the community.

ALARM PERMITS
City ordinance in many cities require that you register your alarm system with an alarm permit to avoid a fine. Information provided on the alarm permits assists your local law enforcement in alarm response to your property. Q. I have set off my alarm, but I don’t remember my
password. How can I cancel dispatch?
A. Without a proper password, our monitoring station will be
sending law enforcement or private security to respond to
your alarm. Please notify our office in person or in
writing to change your password to one that you can
remember.
Q. My keypad will not accept my code.
A. Press # sign, then re-enter your alarm
code.

panel?
A. 1. Press *5
2. Enter your current master code
3. Enter the 2 digit user number where
the new code will reside (i.e. user 1
will be 01, user 2 will be 02, user 13

4. Enter the new 4 digit alarm code you
wish to activate

Q. How can I silence my keypad?
A. From an LED keypad, press and hold the * button until
the buzzer changes to silent. From an LCD keypad, press
*6. Using right arrow button, scroll to Buzzer Control

Q. I have a yellow trouble light on my alarm panel
A. If your system is equipped with an LCD Keypad, using the right
arrow button, scroll over to read Press *2 to view troubles. Press
*2, then view what the trouble condition is. If your system is
equipped with an LED Keypad, press *2. One or more zone lights
will turn on indicating various trouble conditions. (Please keep in
mind, once you have pressed *2, these zone lights no longer
represent your doors, windows, motions, etc.They represent your
trouble conditions)

are away, I have accidentally set off their
Alarm. Can you tell me how to turn it off? A. It will be necessary for your to contact your
friend for a code. Our office does not know
the codes to disarm our customer’s alarm
systems.
